Terms of Service

DBBM is a private, credit-based platform that lets you upload personal books, receive AI-generated summaries and analysis, use semantic search and interact with a reading companion. All features consume credits at the rates published on the pricing page.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Passwords must be at least 8 characters long.

One credit costs €0.10 in the base currency, with equivalents in USD, GBP and PLN calculated at the rate displayed at checkout. The minimum purchase is 50 credits. Credits are non-transferable and are consumed as you use paid features.

The only active payment method is bank transfer. Bank details are emailed to you after the order is placed. Service features remain locked until payment is confirmed.

You retain full ownership of every book, note and file you upload. By using the service you grant us a limited licence to process this content solely to provide the features you request. You must have the right to upload any content you submit.

You agree not to misuse the service. See the Acceptable Use Policy for details.

We aim for high availability but the service is provided on an "as available" basis. We may perform maintenance, update features or discontinue non-essential features with reasonable notice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid in credits during the twelve months preceding the claim.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. Unused credits are handled under our Refund Policy.
